Illustrator cs3 wont install

I need help! I own Adobe CS3 and had it installed on my computer. It worked well for about 9 months. Uninstall and reinstall or talk to your IT professional.

I did that. Several times! It successfully downloads the adobe reader but not anything else. Amanda as mentioned above the way to troubleshoot setup problems is to log the install and see where it is failing. Thank you so much Tim. I tried everyone of the above solutions and none works for me, i still triyin to instal my adobe cs4 suite in windows vista and windows 7.

My problem is slightly different, CS4 setup gets stuck right after launching, and although it appears to be a running process in the task manager, nothing really happens.

Photoshop and Acrobat opened, but froze. InDesign and Illustrator never opened. I think any folder name would have worked, as long as it was NOT the default location.

Then, when I opened one of the CS3 programs for the first time, instead of freezing or never opening, I got the error message, "Licensing for this product has stopped working. You cannot use this product at this time It worked perfectly, and now all of my CS3 products work as they should.
