August 3, Very heavy duty! Work very well. I was concerned that the eyelets wouldn't line up. Not a problem even though it didn't.

I will buy these again. Short on laces January 13, Product is as expected but if you fallow the directions on the box you will need 2 sets of laces for each boot but it only includes a total of 2 sets so you can only lace 1 boot until you purchase additional laces.

Reminds me of my military days January 3, I first used zippers to replace the laces in my military combat boots back in The last time I was able to find this type item was a military surplus store about 20 years ago for my winter boots when I clear snow from my driveway. The velcro tab, to me, is un-needed, I have been using zippers like this in all my boot since 'Nam and never had an issue with zippers becoming unzipped, unexpectedly. I used one of my wife's seam rippers to surgically remove the velcro tabs. I liked these zippers so much, I bought a second pair for my other boots! BUY 'EM!!! Not exactly right.

I guess they expect you to use the old laces from your boots, but they are a different color. There is a tiny Velcro tab used to keep the zipper up. This is so tiny you have to have long nails to get it open to unzip the boot. I cut it off. The shipping was very fast and I received just what I ordered. Cons Had to buy more laces.
