Tour edge exotics xcg4 driver review

It knocked the R1 out of my bag. Got in the hands of the golf pro at my course He came back from the range lit up with a smile and commented it was super long and bullet straight, and that 'he needs it!

He did say another member on the range was in total awe watching the ball flight. I ran the numbers on every post here and nobody had a smash factor over 1. What is up with that? With all the numbers posted in the last thew months, I might take her out on the course this weekend. Who knows she might act right here in Texas. I might be able to launch it more now since I have bulked up a little. If anything I will give her a whirl on the range.

I bought the The guy that did my fitting said I should switch to a reg flex instead of stiff. It was cut down a little to make it more stiff. I have been hitting this club not as solid as I was hitting my older driver. Most shots come off low with a slight draw. I cannot seem to get any consistency with this driver. It has the GD ad 40 shaft in it. I asked the guy that did the fitting about the shaft and he said it was a good one. But I am reading here that a lot of people are having better success with a different shaft.

My ss is avg. I was thinking about returning this driver and getting a different brand, but now I am wondering if the shaft will make the difference. What would you guys recommend for a shaft? Thanks, so when making adjustments, if you grip has alignment markings, they will turn and not be available. Any more thoughts one this? Low spin compared to this years offerings? Maybe not SLDR low, but pretty low? You can post now and register later.

It's being advertised as the longest, lowest-spinning Exotics driver Tour Edge has ever made. Designed for better players, especially those lucky enough to have fast swing speeds, the cc Exotics CB4 has a center of gravity that's positioned higher and closer to the face than other Exotics drivers. This type of weighting promotes a lower, more penetrating trajectory and enhances the driver's workability. Heel and toe weights provide perimeter weighting for increased Moment of Inertia MOI and forgiveness.

The CB4 also has a new "Boomerang" face with varying levels of thickness to promote faster ball speeds on off-center hits. The face angle is set to 2 degrees open, a characteristic which better players often prefer. Maybe you want a hot, forgiving fairway wood instead of a driver. The company says these woods set a new standard for Tour Edge Exotics golf clubs. Among other things, these titanium woods use an extremely heavy tungsten sole which places the majority of the club's weight below the ball, a feature which promotes optimal launch characteristics, workability and remarkably high forgiveness.

And, the titanium face uses varying thicknesses to provide an explosive rebound and awesome distance. Is a new hybrid in your future? Have you heard about the Tour Edge Exotics Trilogy hybrid? Its lighter sibling, the gram version, comes standard with an ultralight, gram, inch Graphite Design Tour AD shaft available in stiff, regular, senior or ladies flex and a gram Winn Lite grip.

Tour Edge claims this latter version is the lightest driver available on the market. It may also be one of the more aerodynamic drivers you can buy. I tried the The light weight and streamlined design of this driver reduce drag and allow the head to slice through the air faster, and faster club head speeds normally translate into more distance.

The sole and face are both titanium, but the crown is made of lighter amorphous carbon. To lower the club's center of gravity and increase its Moment of Inertia resistance to twisting , weight is positioned low and back in the head with two tungsten sole weights and two amorphous carbon sole weights. A variable-thickness "Boomerang" face increases the club's Coefficient of Restitution "spring-like effect" and enlarges the sweet spot.

Its streamlined design, reduced overall weight, and large sweet spot are all intended to increase club head speed and promote longer drives. What golfer doesn't want more distance off the tee, especially when their drives usually hold the target line?
