First, we will ask you questions about your: Medical history Family history of cancer Lifestyle habits, such as what you eat and whether you smoke Exposure to other risk factors, such as working with pesticides Diagnostic Tests for Pancreatic Cancer In addition to a complete medical history and physical examination, diagnostic procedures for pancreatic cancer may include: Ultrasound CT scan MRI Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography ERCP Percutaneous transhepatic cholangiography PTC Special blood tests PET scan Pancreas biopsy Pancreatic Cancer Treatments Once we confirm a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer, we will stage the cancer to find out how big the tumor is and if it has spread.
